Contact · free 20-minute call
start with one sentence.
Tell us what the document is and when it’s due. That’s enough to book a free 20-minute call — no files, no word count, no glossary needed yet. A project lead reads every message and replies within one business day with a few call times.
Who usually writes to us
- Medical device makers taking an IFU or label set into a new market
- Regulatory affairs consultants with an EU MDR, PMDA, ANVISA or COFEPRIS file coming due
- Software teams whose German buttons keep spilling out of their boxes

A line about the project is plenty. Tick the languages if you know them — leave them blank if you don’t.
Before the call
what to mention, and what can wait
Most people put off writing because they think they need everything ready. You don’t. Here’s the honest split.
handy if you have it
- What the document isAn IFU, a label set, a clinical evaluation summary, a string export from your app.
- Which markets, not just which languages“Spanish for Mexico” tells us more than “Spanish” — but either is fine to start.
- A rough sizePages, words or screens. A guess within a factor of two is useful.
- The date that mattersYour submission, print or release date — whichever one keeps you up at night.
- Who signs off at the other endA distributor, an in-country colleague, a notified body. We’ll plan the review around them.
fine to leave out
- The files themselvesWe send a secure upload link after the call, never before you’re ready.
- An exact word countWe count it ourselves when we write your quote.
- A glossaryMost clients don’t have one yet. Building it is part of the work — $685 per language, up to 300 terms.
- Which Spanish or which PortugueseNot sure if you need es-419 or pt-PT? Working that out is half the call.
- A budgetWe give you a fixed price first. You decide after that.

We keep set call times so nobody is translating with one ear on the phone. We’ll offer slots that suit your time zone.
Small worries, answered
the questions people almost don’t ask
is it safe to describe an unreleased device?
Yes. Your message goes to one inbox, read only by the people who would work on your file. If you’d like an NDA in place before you share details, say so in your message and we’ll sign yours first.
we’re nowhere near tennessee. does that matter?
Not at all. Nearly all of our work runs by phone, video and secure file transfer. Because calls are by appointment, we’ll offer times that fit your working day, wherever that is.
our deadline is close. is it still worth asking?
Always. We’ll tell you on the call whether it’s doable. If it isn’t, we’ll suggest what could be — the label set first, the full IFU after — rather than promise a date we can’t keep.
i only need one short label. is that too small?
No. A single label gets the same glossary check, in-country read and signed certificate as a 300-page manual. Small jobs are priced per word with a $240 project minimum.
what if i’m not sure which languages we need?
Tell us which countries you’re selling into and who reads the document. We’ll explain, in plain terms, whether one Spanish will do, whether Brazil and Portugal need separate files, and why.
